Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design

most international students will study the Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction design for 2 years,  hopefully then qualify for the Graduate Work Stream of the Temporary Graduate Visa.
 

Tuition averages $20,000-$24,000, paid in instalments every 3 months.

In the course you will learn topics including:
 

  1. managing teams

  2. managing project time

  3. using Computer Aided Design (CAD) to create 3D models

  4. producing basic engineering drawings

  5. preparing detailed designs of foundations, subdivisions,  open roads,  surface drainage,  civil concrete structures,  civil steel structures,  civil timber structures

  6. managing risk on projects

  7. applying technical mathematics

  8. reading and interpreting plans and specifications

  9. project procurement


To be eligible for the course, international students must:
 

  • the 18 years of age or older

  • have completed the equivalent of Australian year 12

  • have a minimum English level of IELTS 5.5 (or another accepted test)
